UNT Gateway 35 Ballroom
Festival banquet and cash bar Click here to register

Saturday, 21 November

Preceding the performance of the keynote work of the festival, the Česká mše vánoční (Christmas Mass) by Czech composer Jakub Jan Ryba, the College of Music will host an opportunity for scholars and visitors from across the nation and abroad to enjoy an evening of fellowship and fine dining.  This event will be held at UNT's Gateway 35 Ballroom, on the lower level, directly across the street from the Murchison Performing Arts Center.

Not only will this be a wonderful way to conclude the festival, but it will be the perfect way to begin the holiday season. Be entertained by an 18th-century Moravian trombone quartet (dressed in period costume) playing traditional American Moravian selections as well as seasonal favorites in front of the first Christmas tree of the season.

Dr. Thomas Sovík, well known to the Texas-Czech community, will be our keynote speaker.
