Jo Darmon joins the advising team as Associate Academic Advisor after having recently completed a Graduate Artist Certificate in oboe at the University of North Texas where she also completed her bachelor’s in music education and her master’s in oboe performance.

Jo’s background in education has enabled her to be a successful private instructor and freelancer, teaching lessons and oboe classes across the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. She is a regular member of the Lone Star Wind Orchestra, was a past member of Waco’s Jubilee Woodwind Quintet, and has performed with such ensembles as the McKinney Philharmonic, New Texas Sinfonia and the Brazos Chamber Orchestra.
