UNT Blast featuring Santa Clara Vanguard

About the Workshop
The University of North Texas (UNT) College of Music and Santa Clara Vanguard are
excited to present a one-day educational marching event, UNT Blast, on Thursday, July
17, 2025. Participants are invited to UNT campus in Denton for the day to learn, rehearse, and
perform with the staff and members of Santa Clara Vanguard through a variety of sessions
and events.
High school band students and directors may experience the day individually or as
a group. Discounts are available for band directors bringing 10 or more students (see
Registration Information for details).
All events of the day will be house on UNT's Denton Campus followed by the DCI Denton
show at UNT's DATCU Stadium.
- $25 - Registration Fee
- $175 - Tuition
Band directors bringing a minimum of 10 students, can coupon code for students to
receive a $50 tuition discount. Students must each register separately, however we
can accept group payments. Please email music.camps@unt.edu to request a tuition discount coupon code and/or discuss group payment options PRIOR
to completing registration.

Registration Policy
- Payment is due in full at the time of registration.
- Tuition for this program is all-inclusive. We are unable to provide partial refunds
for meals, t-shirts, DCI Denton tickets, etc.
- Participants must be current high school students (rising freshmen-rising seniors).
- Requested by July 1, 2025 – Full refund less $50 ($25 registration fee + $25 administrative fee).
- We are unable to process refunds requested after July 1, 2025.
- No refunds will be provided should a participant be dismissed for violating UNT policy
or program rules provided at the start of the day.
