The UNT College of Music’s Office of Development engages individuals, corporations and foundations to support the largest public-university music program in the United States and one of the most globally respected. The UNT College of Music is recognized as a world-class training ground for musicians providing performance opportunities through more than 70 ensembles. As well, the UNT College of Music is one of the largest providers of music educators in the United States and trains our students for all facets of the music industry. Each year the College of Music serves approximately 1,600 students, schedules more than 1,000 concerts, master classes, guest artist perfromances and student recitals that all provide a dynamic learning environment of academic and artistic excellence.
Your gift will make an important impact on the next generation of musicians and support the mission of the UNT College of Music. Our greatest need is for scholarship funding. The financial requirements for attracting talented and academically gifted students have escalated substantially and resources for supporting the effort have not kept pace.
Gifts may be unrestricted, directed to a specific endowment or project and are tax-deductible. The College of Music Office of Development will be glad to assist you with any gift questions. As always, we are grateful to our many friends and supporters who help sustain our earned reputation as one of the finest music programs in the world.
Many gift options are available. Whether you are considering one for immediate use or a legacy gift, all are important and make a difference.
