Discover inspiration and world-class instruction at the UNT Summer Piano Camp! Join us for an unforgettable experience at the UNT Summer Piano camp where you will receive exceptional instruction from concert pianists and esteemed pedagogues. Not only will you refine and elevate your piano skills through hands-on instruction and real-world performance experience, but you will also enhance your resume, setting yourself apart for college admissions and job opportunities all while studying under world-class artists at the prestigious University of North Texas.
The 2026 camp will feature distinguished concert pianists and teaching artists Adam Wodnicki, Steven Harlos, Oscar Macchioni, Brad Beckman, Liudmila Georgievskaya, and Thomas Schwan.
The camp is open to middle and high school students (ages 11 and up) as well as college-age students of all skill levels. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced music major, this camp is designed for you!
Our camp offers daily public masterclasses, private piano lessons, and ensemble lessons focused on the vast four-hand piano repertoire. Whether you bring performance-ready pieces or new works you’ve just begun, you will receive personalized feedback tailored to your current level. You will gain invaluable advice and encouragement and have the opportunity to work in a supportive, friendly environment all while making new friends and connecting with fellow musicians.
In addition to lessons, you will participate in workshops, discussions, and lectures on the essential topics of technique, memorization, and more. You will also hear our distinguished faculty perform for you! All participants will have the opportunity to study privately and perform publicly. Public performances will take place in the beautiful UNT concert halls.
All participants will perform in a recital featuring solo repertoire as well as ensemble pieces. Friends and family are invited to attend!
With dedicated practice spaces available for all participants, housing and meal packages are included for added convenience. The camp will conclude with the solo student recital on Saturday evening and ensemble student recital on Sunday morning.*
