Registration & Fees
Participants have the option of registering for the fall semester only or the yearlong program. Click HERE to register. To begin, select Strings as the "Area" and UNT String Project (Fall Semester Only -or- Yearlong) as the "Program."
Tuition & Fees
Yearlong Program
- Non-refundable registration fee: $30
- Yearlong tuition: $250
- Instrument rental (optional): $120
Fall Semester
- Non-refundable registration fee: $30
- Fall semester only tuition: $200
- Instrument rental (optional): $60
Spring Semester
*Registration for the spring semester only will open in January.

Registration Deadlines
The registration deadline for the fall semester only and yearlong program is October 15, 2025. We are unable to offer prorated tuition for students who register after the first day of classes.

Instrument Rentals
We have a limited number of instruments available to rent. Please indicate your interest in renting an instrument on the registration form. Students needing an instrument will be fit on their first day of class. If an instrument is available for your student, you will pay the instrment rental fee with cash (exact change), check, or money order on the second day of class. We also have options available if you are unable to afford the rental fee or there is not an appropriate instrument available for you to use. Dr. Garcia will provide additional information on the first class day.
Refunds
Refunds for the fall semester only and yearlong program requested by November 1, 2025 will be honored less a $50 refund fee ($30 non-refundable registration fee + $20 administrative fee). We are unable to honor refunds requested after November 1, 2025 for the fall semester only and yearlong program. Please submit refund requests via email to music.camps@unt.edu.
