The official schedule for High School Band Day 2025 depends on the announcement of the game time, which will likely happen in late August. See below for an anticipated schedule based on High School Band Day 2024.

6.5 to 5.5 hours before kickoff Arrive, buses park in Orange Lot (Lot 20). Check-in occurs at the Murchison Performing Arts Center (MPAC). A Green Brigade student volunteer who is assigned to your band will meet you at the check-in area and will escort your band throughout the day.
5.5 hours before kickoff  Transition time to DATCU Stadium
5 hours before kickoff Sectionals led by Green Brigade student leadership in and around DATCU Stadium
4.5 hours before kickoff Mass band rehearsal at DATCU Stadium. We will set the performance block, rehearse the combined band tunes, and practice entering and exiting the field.
3.5 hours before kickoff Rehearsal ends, transition time back to the MPAC
3 hours before kickoff Air conditioned downtime at the MPAC. This is the recommended time to have your pregame meal delivered. During this block, there may be a short presentation by UNT College of Music Admissions. At the end of this block, before students depart for the stadium, wristbands will be distributed.
1 hour before kickoff Transition time to DATCU Stadium
0.5 hours before kickoff High school students seated in the stands. Watch the Green Brigade pregame show!
Time TBA Kickoff—Go Mean Green!
During Second Quarter Bands dismissed from the stands to prepare for halftime.
Halftime Combined Green Brigade and high school bands performance!
After halftime Schools may leave the stadium, load buses, and depart OR stay until the end of the game as they wish.
~3.5 hours after kickoff Mean Green win! The Green Brigade performs Fight Song, Alma Mater, and "You'll Never Walk Alone."
