Dallas/Fort Worth’s NBC5 News highlights guitarist Angel Caro of Dallas ISD’s Conrad High School and his honor of being one of three Texas guitarists to receive Outstanding Performance Award medals at the Texas State Solo-Ensemble Contest. Taught primarily by UNT graduate students and beginning its fourth year, the Virtual Private Music Lessons program has offered/provided 47,000 lessons since the program inception in October 2022 to more than 2,400 students on 53 DISD campuses.
