In August, 2022, Casey Goldman became the Associate Director of Community Engagement and Collaboration for the College of Music’s newest UNT Music in the City initiative, a virtual private-music-lesson program (VPL) for students in Dallas ISD. Prior to the appointment she was academic advisor for the UNT College of Music where she served the International Liaison. She has previously worked in the Ryan College of Business and the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences as an advisor. As an active member in UCAN, Casey has served on the Rules and Bylaws committee and participated in the mentorship program.

Musically educated as a trumpeter, Casey earned her Bachelor of Music from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and her Master of Music from The University of Southern Mississippi. In May 2019 she completed her Doctorate of Musical Arts in Trumpet Performance from the University of North Texas where she served as a teaching fellow.

In addition to advising, Casey maintains an active teaching and performing schedule. When not performing, Casey enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.
