UNT has a site license for Adobe Creative Cloud, each faculty and staff member is granted access to the full suite at no charge. All faculty and staff already have an account ready with Adobe but it will need to be activated. Below are the steps to activate your account through the Adobe website.
You can update the applications through a desktop link (see Section II below). If you need to install it elsewhere you will use the Adobe Creative Cloud portal.
You can install Adobe Creative Cloud on computers other than your university-owned computer. You can install it on a home computer or any computer. But the applications will not work unless you log in with your UNT credentials and you can only have it open on one computer at a time.
SECTION I: Installing Adobe Creative Cloud through the Web Portal
- Go to: https://account.adobe.com. Click on “Sign in with Enterprise ID”.
- Sign in with your UNT email address and your EUID password (the one you use at https://my.unt.edu).
- You will then be prompted with the screen below. Choose, “Enterprise ID”.
NOTE: If you have a paid account with Adobe already using your UNT email address, you would access it by selecting “Adobe ID”.
- You will be redirected to the UNT system Sign-on page for authentication. If you are
logged in on campus, through the wired network, it may pass the login screen below
and go straight to Adobe. If you are prompted, go ahead and type in your EUID and
password as directed.
- Once you are logged in, you will be at your Adobe account overview page. Click “Download
Apps” under “Common Tasks”.
- On the resulting page, you can scroll through the list of Adobe applications and select
the ones you would like to install. When you already have an application installed
on a particular computer, you will have the option to open the application (afterward
you can use the desktop links as you normally do to launch the application), update
the application to the latest Adobe Creative Cloud version if there is an update available,
or uninstall the application. Each application has a box to the right with available
options.
