College of Music students, faculty, and staff can visit mymazevo.com to make a request.

If you are not already in the system, the first time you log in you will create a profile, and we will need to assign you to the College of Music before you can make a request.

We are processing profiles as quickly as possible; once you are added you will be able to see a "Requests" option at the top of the page (or on mobile it will be in the dropdown menu in the upper left corner of your screen). Thank you for your patience as we all learn to navigate our new software!

If you have any questions, or if you are not affiliated with the College of Music and would like to reserve a space for your event, please contact the Scheduling team at music.scheduling@unt.edu.

General Information
Mazevo is our new scheduling software. This software should make requesting spaces easy! You will be able to login with your UNT login information here. Below are videos and basic information about how to use the new scheduling software. If you have any questions that this page doesn't answer, please reach out to music.scheduling@unt.edu. We are here to help you!
Make a Request

When making a request, you will be required to enter event information.

The event name should reflect the event that you are booking. For rehearsals, recordings, meetings, etc. title the event with what you are using the space for and/or with your group name.  For recitals, you must title the event with the following format: Non-degree/Junior/Senior/Masters/GAC/Doctoral Recital: Your name, your instrument. If your title does not follow this format, your request will be denied.

The event type should reflect what you are using the room for.

  • COM Class - Other is for studios, extra class time/exams, and lessons
  • COM Grad Exam/Defense is for graduate level oral exams, disertation defenses, and anything that might fall into that category. This event type requires 3 committee members
  • COM Rehearsal is for chamber, dress, solo, and any other rehearsals
  • COM Self-Recording  is for any type of recordings in any space. There is a 10-hour semesterly recording limit in the performance halls and the Spec's Lab. Once you reach your semesterly limit, you cannot book self-recordings in those spaces
  • COM Faculty Recital/COM Grad Recital/COM Non-Degree Recital/COM Senior Recital is for any student or faculty recitals. The number of committee members will change depending on the recital type
  • COM Green Room is for a secondary space/warm up room for a performance event
  • COM Guest Artist Event is for anything related to guest artists including masterclasses, recitals, etc.
  • COM Performance Event is for non-recital or guest artist events
  • COM Other is for anything that does not fit into the above categories

The organization will be College of Music unless you are booking for a student organization. You can scroll to find College of Music or type directly into the box.

The start time and end time are required for all events. For recitals, click the Specify Customer Access Time and enter 30 minutes before start time (more information about this can be found in the Frequently Asked Questions section of our website).

You may select one or multiple dates for your event. If this is something that is repeating every week, every month, or some other way, select that under the Repeat drop down. You will be required to put in a start and end date. *If you are selecting more than one date or a repeat, all of those events will occur at the same time. **You may only select ONE recital date or your request will be denied.

You must choose what building you want to book a room in. The Music Building, Music Annex, and Music Bain Hall are where 95% of rooms and reservations will occur. Music Off Campus is to be used only for off campus recitals. Music Practice South is to be used only for the Virtual Private Music Lessons program.

When choosing a room, the system will show available rooms on one tab and unavailable on another. You will be able to see how many days are available in each room and can select a different room for unavailable dates. Please only select ONE room per reservation unless you need all of the selected rooms. By choosing multiple rooms, you are booking more than one room during the same time. Some rooms have access lists or restrictions.

  • MU 115, 142, 287, 2012 - Access List Only
  • Graham Green Room, 320, 250 - No Rehearsals
  • MU 297 - Chamber Preferred
  • Bain 101 - Percussion Only
