The Joffrey Ballet Chicago premiere presentation of “Liliom.”
Opening this Thursday, @UNT chair of the division of jazz studies, Rob Parton’s sixteen-piece, Jazztech Big Band,
appears on stage along with and for the Joffrey Ballet Chicago premiere presentation
of “Liliom.” Choreographed by John Neumeier and composed by Michael Legrand, Parton’s
big band performs on stage with the Chicago Lyric Opera Orchestra in the pit.
