UNT alumnus, James W. Thomason establishes two endowments, supporting the College of Music and the Department of Dance and Theatre.

UNT alumnus, James W. Thomason (pictured center), with John W. Richmond, Ph.D. (pictured left), Professor and Dean of the College of Music, and UNT President Harrison Keller, Ph.D, has made a planned gift commitment establishing two endowments supporting the College of Music and the Department of Dance and Theatre. The approximately $2 million gift will create the James Thomason Endowed Chair of the One O’Clock Lab Band® and the James Thomason Theatre Excellence Fund.
