Ian Cicco will join the UNT faculty as Assistant Professor of Music Education with an emphasis in elementary - general music. Dr. Cicco is currently on the faculty of the University of Southern Mississippi. He completed his PhD in music education with a minor in voice at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. His research appears in the "Journal of Research in Music Education, Action, Criticism, and Theory for Music Education," "Journal of Historical Research in Music Education," "Visions of Research in Music Education," and "The Orff Echo." He serves on "The Orff Echo" editorial board and as Vice President for the Mississippi Orff Chapter #100.
