Talitha Murphy won the coveted Best Undergraduate Paper award from the Texas Society for Music Theory whose 2025 conference was held in Waco. Her presentation was, "Louis Couperin's Unmeasured Preludes for Harpsichord: Understanding Historical Context, Harmonic Analysis, and Individual Interpretation."
