UNT DMA vocal jazz student, Liz Townsend and alumnus, Tomás Jonsson (MM ’24) selected as Finalists for The American Pops Orchestra inaugural Ruth Wales du Pont Collegiate Composition Competition.

They appeared at Delaware's Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library for the live final. In addition to cash prizes they will debut original popular compositions performed by live orchestra.
