Our College of Music has a long and storied history of success in Grammy nominations and awards, of course, but this is the first Latin GRAMMYs nomination, we believe, and certainly the first such nomination involving one of our student ensembles. We extend heartfelt congratulations to Regents Professor Eugene Migliaro Corporon and his brilliant students on this historic achievement. We are so very proud of them all.”

The nominated track was recorded in the Margot and Bill Winspear Performance Hall in the Murchison Performing Arts Center.
