The American Prize announced that Lantana Trio, comprised of faculty, Associate Professor of Trumpet,
Raquel Samayoa; Professor of Horn, Stacie Mickens; and Professor of Trombone, Natalie
Mannix, received a Special Judges’ Citation for Outstanding album of new music for
brass trio in the Chamber Ensembles category.
