Na’ama Lion is well known as a versatile performer on early flutes. She has performed with the Handel and Haydn Society, Boston Baroque, Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra, Arcadia Players, Sequentia, and many more. Na’ama was a headliner recitalist for the NFA convention in Utah, presented a solo recital at the Vivaldi Flute Week in Italy, and has performed on the main stage of the Boston Early Music Festival. She is a committed performer of new music, plays with the crossover group Rumbarroco and Eudaimonia, and holds a DMA degree from Boston University. Na’ama Lion is on the faculty of the Longy School of Music and the University of North Texas, and teaches at the Amherst Early Music Festival. She is the director of a chamber music program at Mather House, Harvard University. Na’ama has recorded for Deutsche Harmonia Mundi, Telarc and private labels.
