DMA, Euphonium Performance (ABD)
Technical Sgt. Chris McGinty is a euphoniumist with the Ceremonial Brass, The United States Air Force Band, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C. A native of Plains, Texas, his Air Force career began in 2019.
Sergeant McGinty completed his Bachelor of Music Education degree under the guidance of Dr. Kevin Wass at Texas Tech University. He then went on to earn his Master of Music degree from the University of North Texas, where he studied with Dr. Brian L. Bowman. Sergeant McGinty is currently in the latter stages of his doctoral studies under the supervision of David Childs.
