Eric Martinez, a Massachusetts native, is a conductor, educator, organist, and bass-baritone dedicated to creating community through the choral arts. Eric holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Stetson University, where he was a student of Dr. Sean Kennard and Dr. Michael Rickman. Eric is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Choral Conducting at the University of North Texas, studying under Dr. Allen Hightower. He currently serves as the Teaching Assistant of Vox Aquilae with Dr. Allen Hightower and the Choral Librarian at UNT.

 

Prior to his graduate studies, Eric was the Director of Choirs at Fort Pierce Central High School in Fort Pierce, Florida, where he directed five choirs, keyboarding, and music theory. Choirs under Mr. Martinez’s direction have consistently performed and received Superior ratings at the District and State levels.
