Jacob Nydegger (MM ’20, BM ’17) was awarded 1st Prize in the Senior Category of the 2021 Grand Prize Virtuoso Competition. As part of his award he will be making his performance debut in London at Royal Albert Hall, Elgar Room.

Shuo-Hui Sophie Hung, (DMA '18) has joined Southwestern Oklahoma State University as tenure-track Assistant Professor of Music in Piano.

Thomas Schwan, DMA student in piano performance, won First Prize in the 2020 World Bach Competition - Keyboard & Plucked Instruments Professional Category with 273 musicians from 39 countries taking part organized by the Boulder Bach Festival.

Jonathan Welsh writes, "...this is an utterly magnificent disc." Meilin Ai, (DMA '19), full-time faculty member of the Conservatory of Music of the Sichuan Normal University in China, recorded this album in Winspear Hall of UNT's Murchison Performing Arts Center.
