Michael Idzior has been in full-time employment at the University of Virginia since 2014. Originally from the state of Michigan, he received his bachelor's of music degree in music education from Western Michigan University and his master's degree in euphonium performance from the University of North Texas.  Mr Idzior is currently in the latter stages of his doctoral studies under the supervision of Dr. David Childs, having previously served as a teaching fellow for the internationally renown North Texas euphonium studio under Dr. Brian Bowman.
