Travis Scott is currently obtaining his D.M.A. in Tuba and Euphonium performance from Michigan State University, where he is also pursuing a Masters-in-Passing in Music Theory Pedagogy.  He holds degrees from the University of North Texas ('09) and the University of Akron ('06) where he studied with Dr. Brian Bowman and Tucker Jolly respectively.  Also active as a keyboard collaborative artist, he has accompanied performance many student, college, and professional recitals.  As a performing artist, he is a member of the Cleveland Orchestra's Blossom Festival Band, the NEOTuba Quartet, and the university bands at MSU.  He has performed with the Akron Symphony Orchestra, the Dallas Winds (formerly Dallas Wind Symphony), and the Texas Star Brass Band.
 
Mr. Scott has several publications available through Cimarron, Wingert-Jones, Potenza and Gramercy music publishing companies.  He has also commissioned works from many composers including Barbara York, Anthony O'Toole, James Woodward, Elgar Howarth and Tony Plog among others.  
 
Travis is very active as a music educator teaching private low brass lessons at area high schools.  While in Texas he was fortunate to teach for some of the finest band programs in the state of Texas and at Brookhaven University.  
 
He can be heard on recordings with the Cuyahoga Valley Brass Band, the Brass Band of the Western Reserve, the Cleveland Symphonic Winds, the University of North Texas Wind Symphony and the Lone Star Wind Orchestra.
