Denied access to the faculty recommendation portal? Perhaps this will help:

Most "access denied" incidents are a result of the email address or ticket request number being typed incorrectly. 

Check the following:

  1. When copying and pasting the email address and number from the notification email the user most likely selected more than the needed info for the copy.
    • Its recommended to double click on the address/number to highlight information over manually dragging to highlight. Its not uncommon for a user to accidently highlight more than the needed information. (Even an extra blank space before or after the email/number may cause a problem.) 
  2. Prior to pasting the information, a user sometimes hits the space bar which introduces a blank character into the field that will invalidate the request. Be sure to check that a blank space doesn't exist before or after the copied text.
  3. If copy and pasting is repeatedly causing login issues its always safe to fall back on manually typing in the information.
  4. If your browser attempts to use the autocomplete feature to fill in the fields for some reason don't use it.
