Dr. Warren Henry is currently Professor of Music Education and Associate Dean, Academic Affairs of the College of Music at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. At UNT he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses, coordinates student teaching, and is the founder/director of the UNT Early Childhood Music Program. While working in the public schools for ten years, Dr. Henry received his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Music Education from the Crane School of Music (Potsdam, NY) and his Ph.D. in Music Education from Michigan State University. He is an active clinician and researcher, and he has presented many sessions at national and international conferences. Dr. Henry's publications can be seen in the Journal of Music Teacher Education, Contributions to Music Education, Early Childhood Connections, and Arts, Education, Policy and Review.
