The opera program in the College of Music at the University of North Texas strives to offer intensive training and diverse performing opportunities to students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in an environment that is at once nurturing and challenging.  As an aspiring opera singer you can pursue a BM, MM or DMA degree in vocal performance with a related field in Opera.  Or you can pursue an Artists Certificate. 

Classes
Singing/Acting: a foundational course, offered separately on the undergraduate and graduate levels

Graduate-level courses:
Studies in Opera Repertoire (offered, in alternating semesters, as a literature class and as a performance class)
Operatic Acting
Opera Directing
