Working at the Murchison

The Murchison Performing Arts Center has approximately 50 student employees during the fall and spring semesters all from different majors and departments on the UNT Denton campus. All of the ushers, box office clerks, stage crew, front of house managers and stage managers are students. In addition to these positions there is a marketing internship that is offered to a business major each year.
Employees on the Front of House team receive training in customer service, emergency management, event planning and event management. Members of the stage crew are trained on the Murchison's state of the art lighting and sound equipment.
