Dr. Dworak has received a grant from the National Institute to model the learning of creativity in music, and several grants from UNT to develop computer-based curricula in sight singing and keyboard harmony. A member of the faculty of the Center for Network Neuroscience, his research has focused on developing models of pitch recognition as well as general models of music cognition. Dworak is coauthor (with Robert Ottman) of Basic Ear Training Skills and author of the associated computer courseware.
