On-Campus Housing and Meals
University Residence Hall
Registration and payment for on campus housing is on the symposium registration form. (Symposium Registration PDF).
- On campus rooms will be in Kerr Hall which is located at:
- 1413 Maple St. Denton, TX 76201.
- Rooms will include bed and bath linens for each guest. Pillows will be provided upon request, but UNT encourages you to bring your own.
- Rooms are suite style:
- Two double-occupancy rooms share a bathroom (men’s rooms share with men’s, women’s with women’s, and couples with couples).
- Single rooms share a bathroom between adjacent rooms.
- All rooms are air-conditioned.
- Smoking and alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the dormitory, and alcohol is not allowed on campus at any time.
- There are no televisions or telephones in sleeping rooms.
- Internet access for the week will be available for a small fee at the dorm’s front desk – $5.50 for the stay if paid with housing fee, $6 if paid after the housing fee.
- The UNT Pohl Rec Center is available for pay-per-use visits. Please see the registration desk for details.
Meals
- Located at 1413 West Maple
- Meals are $7 each during the Symposium.
- Vegetarians will find their choice of vegan and vegetarian entrees.
- The salad bar always provides fresh summer fruit and vegetable offerings.
- Kerr Hall Café Meal Times (Tuesday-Saturday)
Breakfast: 7:00 am – 8:30 am
Lunch: 11:30 am – 1 pm
Dinner: 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Off-Campus Housing:
While there are many motels in the Denton area that offer excellent rates and amenities, the Denton Convention and Visitors Bureau assembled a list of area motels from which we were asked to select three as “Symposium Motels.” The following motels are reserving rooms at the listed price until April 14:
