• North American Brass Band Association Technical Solo Competition, 1998
• North American Brass Band Association Ensemble Competition, 1998
• 2^nd Place, Leonard Falcone International Euphonium Artist Competition, 1998
• Feature soloist with the Lexington Brass Band on England Tour, the University of Kentucky Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and the Western Illinois University Symphonic Wind Ensemble.
